DEFINITION
Interactive Workshop Speakers will be presenters at the in-person meeting being held March 12-13, 2026. Presenters must complete the assigned tasks noted below. Presenters should be prepared to be available during their entire respective session time/date.

DEADLINES & REQUIRED ACTIONS:
Please login (if necessary) and complete the following tasks

  • Thursday, February 12, 2026Interactive Workshop Speaker Registration
    • To present your at the conference, all presenters are required to register for the meeting no later than February 12, 2026. Please ensure your membership is current prior to registering.
    • If you will need a letter from NABIS to help with getting a VISA to travel, please check that option during your registration.

PRESENTATION TIMING BREAKDOWN
Your presentation timing should have been emailed to you, but can also be found in the program here..

Please be mindful of your allotted time as you prepare your talk. The timing of all presentations will be strictly enforced .

SLIDE PREPARATION (If applicable)

If you would like to have slides for your session, please bring them in a USB to be uploaded to the onsite computer provided at the podium. Please use the following guidelines when creating your presentation:

  • General Guidelines: Consider no more than 1 – 2 slides for each minute. Select a font and size that will be easily readable on your background. Ensure that each slide does not contain so much data/images/pictures that it is confusing or overwhelming for the viewer.
  • Template: None.
  • Format: PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) only. If you are using Apple/Keynote, you will need to convert your presentation prior.
  • Ratio: 16:9
  • Presenter View: NOT available, please plan accordingly.
  • Videos: Embed your video within your presentation and bring a backup of your video as a separate file on your USB drive. Internet will not be available onsite at the lectern.
  • Animations/Transitions: Ensure that your presentation does NOT have a preset timer to advance slides.

ONSITE AUDIO VISUAL

Please note that a tech will be there to help kick off the session but will not stay in the room the entire session, as these sessions are not meant to be lecture based but interactive.

  • A technician will help you kick off your meeting but will NOT stay for the duration of your session.
  • Presentation slide decks will be brought up by speaker in the room from a laptop on the podium.
  • Presenter Tools:
    • A laptop will be on the podium for presenters to view the slides they are presenting to the audience.
    • A slide advancer and mouse will be provided for presenters to click through their slides at the podium.
  • Audio:
    • A wireless microphone will be located at the podium for presenters to use.
  • Your room is equipped with (1) screen(s) and full speaker coverage.
