Amelia Maiga

Amelia Maiga is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Acute Care Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is board-certified in general surgery and critical care by the American Board of Surgery. She practices as a trauma surgeon and intensivist at the Vanderbilt Trauma Center, a high-volume, high-acuity Level 1 verified trauma center. She is also an NIH-funded surgeon-scientist with a focus on collaborative research to change practice for patients with traumatic brain injury.
