Biography

As Senior Director of Clinical Solutions, Amy Meltzer leads a team to coordinate the implementation of Paradigm’s Systematic Care ManagementSM model and oversees case, clinical and financial management to achieve optimal outcomes.

Amy has worked in health care for more than 30 years, focusing on catastrophic and trauma cases as well as chronic pain management. She also develops strategies that help injured workers reduce dependency on opioids using a biopsychosocial approach to treatment. Amy began her clinical practice as a staff nurse, obtaining experience in acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, and multiple trauma, including amputation and burns.

Before joining Paradigm, Amy worked in the specialty area of rehabilitation nursing in several practice settings, including acute rehabilitation, subacute care and long-term care management.

Ms. Meltzer is nationally certified as a case manager, rehabilitation nurse, brain injury specialist, and director of nursing administration in long-term care. She also holds the Paradigm Specialist in Pain Management Certification. Amy received her RN from Mercer Medical Center School of Nursing and has achieved a master’s degree in nursing with a concentration in leadership and management from Western Governors University.
