Biography
Britta Colombo is a speech-language pathologist and a certified brain injury specialist. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas: one in Communication Sciences and Disorders and the other in Childhood Learning and Development. She later earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Abilene Christian University in Dallas, Texas.
Since 2021, she has been part of the Cognitive Rehabilitation Team at Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS), where she integrates evidence-based therapy into clinical practice. Her leadership contributions include developing functional therapy groups, implementing research-driven assessments, and founding a regional dysphagia discussion group.
Britta’s dedication is driven by a personal connection—her younger brother’s traumatic brain injury in 2016. She is committed to helping patients regain independence through functional, person-centered therapy, rebuilding connections with loved ones. As a result of her passion, in 2024, she received the prestigious Rose
Leal Award for clinical excellence.
