Jennifer Dawson

Dr Jennifer Dawson holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine and a Master’s degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology. She is a Research Associate at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute in Ottawa, Canada. Dr Dawson is the guideline developer for the Living Guideline for Pediatric Concussion Care at pedsconcussion.com. She works with concussion experts from Canada and the United States to synthesize and review emerging evidence in pediatric concussion care. She ensures that all recommendations and tools remain current and reflect expert consensus. She also leads a patient and community engagement committee for the TRANSCENDENT Concussion Research Program. Her work focuses on integrating lived experience into research design, knowledge translation, and implementation.
